A fast, low-maintenance outdoor upgrade completed for a rental property

Urbanscape was contacted by a local real estate agency to complete an urgent backyard clean-up and transformation for a Sunshine Coast rental property. With the owner preparing to place the home back on the rental market, the project needed to be completed within a tight timeframe so the property could be presented to prospective tenants as quickly as possible.

The existing backyard was covered with leaves, weeds and organic debris, while the timber fencing had become weathered and discoloured. The outdoor area required a practical refresh that would immediately improve its presentation while remaining easy for future tenants and the property manager to maintain.

The Work Completed

Our team completed a full clean-up and preparation of the backyard before installing decorative landscaping rocks across the garden area.

The project included:

  • Removal of leaves, weeds and accumulated garden debris

  • Preparation and levelling of the existing ground

  • Installation of decorative landscaping rocks for a clean, low-maintenance finish

  • Repositioning of the stepping stones to maintain practical access

  • Pressure washing of the timber fencing to remove built-up dirt and restore its appearance

  • Final clean-up of the surrounding outdoor areas

The Result

The previously tired and untidy backyard was transformed into a clean, functional and low-maintenance outdoor space. The fresh landscaping rocks created a defined, modern finish, while pressure washing significantly improved the appearance of the existing timber fence without requiring its replacement.
